MNBC Registry Review: Change Management

Howegroup was contracted by Metis Nation BC to implement a full-scale change management process for their Citizen Registry. Howegroup set the vision, conducted engagement with senior management and staff that led the department through many stages to improve efficiency. A staffing remodel, database RFP, partnerships, digitization of records, performance metrics, and staff training were all part of the process. The Wahkotowin name (emphasizing teachings of creation that is related and interconnected to all things within it) and logo was created by MNBC staff and resulted in an annual ‘Wahkotowin Day’.
