BC Care Providers Association: Impact Of COVID-19
Howegroup was contracted to provide an in-depth review of the impact of COVID-19 on the seniors care sector in BC. The work included engagement of leaders from the sector. Analysis focused on seniors’ rights, human resources, and the impact to providers, resulting in recommendations that were validated by the Board of Directors. The final report received endorsement from an academic review panel and interest by national media.
Our work was featured in a documentary, ‘Crisis in Care’. The film takes viewers inside to the start of COVID-19 in long-term care in British Columbia. The film can be viewed on Google Play, Apple TV, and iTunes.
